Specimen handling & ordering overview
In 8 to 10% of cases, testing cannot be completed because of poor sampling. You can reduce that possibility by following these simple instructions:
  • Do not spin down, freeze or put tissue in formalin
  • Send sample as soon as possible after extraction (within 24 hours). Samples received more than 5 days after extraction are not accepted
  • Keep sample as sterile as possible
  • Follow packaging procedures carefully
  • Submit the order form in a timely manner
  • Contact your Precision Therapeutics Client Services representative to arrange for pick-up
